Providers
Professional development is an important part of a career in early childhood. Huffer Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) is committed to ensuring that working child care providers and teachers of young children have access to the most current research and techniques to provide high quality care. A full-time Education Coordinator is available to assist child care providers with professional development and connect you with professional development sources and higher education opportunities.
One important professional development opportunity at Huffer CCR&R is Non Formal Child Development Associate (CDA) credential training. In less than a year you can get the CDA training you need. Classes are competency based, with no tests and no grades, and are held on one day a week. Supported by TEACH, the out-of-pocket expense is only $100.00 and is payable in four payments.
In addition to Non Formal CDA training, Huffer CCR&R presents an extensive training calendar that includes more than 150 annual offerings, some with CEU opportunities.
